How to care for your garment
Washing
A wool garment can last a lifetime if cared for correctly.
Some wool is machine washable however, here at Cluny Cabin we recommend a cool hand wash.
If you decide to machine wash then please use a no-rinse cycle such as wool wash. Remove it from the machine and roll it in a bath towel to remove excess moisture. Lay the garment on a flat surface and leave it to dry, it should not need any ironing.

storing your garment
Wool has a No.1 enemy ..... the moth! Pheromone traps and insecticide sprays will catch and kill moths, however prevention is always advisable. Keep any delicate items in plastic bags.
If you fold your garment a light steam iron using a cloth in between your garment and the iron will suffice to remove any fold marks.
